The opportunity…
The Master Data Analyst – UDI Compliance manages end‑to‑end UDI master data management activities such as collection, administration, maintenance, validation and submission of data required for compliance with the Australian UDI framework. The role supports Master Data and Regulatory Affairs teams by ensuring accurate data, meeting Regulatory and THERAPEUTIC GOODS ADMINISTRATION (TGA) requirements, and enabling smooth UDI data management across systems. It also acts as the key liaison between internal teams, suppliers and project stakeholders to ensure Australian UDI Database (AusUDID) submission readiness and embed sustainable UDI practices into master data processes.

The ideal candidate is a detail‑driven master data professional with strong regulatory compliance experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage end‑to‑end data processes. They communicate clearly, work well across teams, solve problems proactively, and maintain high standards of data accuracy, consistency and governance.
Master Data Management & Compliance
Manage and maintain high‑quality master data, ensuring accuracy, completeness and alignment with TGA/AusUDID requirements. Oversee the full UDI data lifecycle, prepare data for submission, monitor data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and support continuous improvement of master data processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the main contact for UDI‑related data activities, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers. Build strong cross‑functional relationships, ensure vendor data meets regulatory requirements, support suppliers with data issues, and clearly communicate data standards and timelines.
Education & Training
Guide teams on UDI requirements and processes, maintain documentation such as templates and work instructions, and deliver training to reinforce data accuracy and effective use of master data tools.
Project & Risk Management
Support project planning and delivery for UDI and master data activities, track progress, report status, and assist with risk management where data gaps may affect compliance.
Master Data Governance, Data Quality & Continuous Improvement
Ensure compliance with governance standards, policies and privacy regulations. Strengthen data quality controls, address issues, and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
Other Responsibilities
Work flexibly to support global stakeholders, engage with external vendors as needed, promote a data‑driven culture, and assist the line manager with ad hoc tasks.
Experience required:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Data disciplines or any related field.
- 5+ years' Experience in master data management, supply chain, regulatory support (preferred SAP ERP, Osapiens UDI), or similar data-focused roles, with a strong focus on master data governance and regulatory.
- Experience with business analysis or data analysis, with strong system, data and analytical skills to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
- Experience with digital platforms and Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proficiency in master data quality and cleansing techniques and identifying opportunities to streamline master data management processes.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to data governance, protection and data privacy regulations.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them to data standards.
- Quick learner, with strong attention to detail, diligence and commitment to data consistency and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams
- Focus on efficiency, user experience and process improvement.
- Solid time management skills and ability to work well in cross-functional teams and prioritise tasks.
