The opportunity…
As Head of Operations, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and optimising our operational capability across Asia. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end operations across multiple markets, ensuring the business is well positioned to deliver both short- and long-term strategic objectives through efficient, compliant, and scalable operating models.
Partnering closely with country leaders, suppliers, and commercial stakeholders, you will drive service excellence across the customer journey, strengthening operational performance while continuously improving the customer experience. You will also lead and develop high-performing regional teams, embedding a customer-centric culture that balances operational efficiency, cost optimisation, and sustainable growth.
This is a senior, highly visible role suited to a strategic and hands-on leader who thrives in complex, multi-market environments and is passionate about building operational excellence at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive short‑term operational performance and long‑term growth for DT Asia by delivering an outstanding, consistent customer experience across all markets.
- Optimise customer engagement and service delivery to support sustainable growth and long‑term value creation.
- Lead the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual operational targets; set and cascade Asia operational goals, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Manage and execute the Asia operational budget, ensuring efficient cost management and contribution to top‑ and bottom‑line growth.
- Shape and evolve the regional operational landscape, including developing new channels, onboarding new principals/customers, and integrating acquisitions with a commercial mindset.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying system enhancement needs, defining requirements, supporting testing, and ensuring successful implementation.
- Ensure operational compliance with regulatory, legal, and ethical standards across all markets.
- Strengthen the end‑to‑end customer journey by identifying key touchpoints, implementing feedback loops, benchmarking performance, and embedding best practices.
- Oversee timely and accurate handling of customer enquiries, orders, returns, credits, and dispute resolution, ensuring first‑contact resolution wherever possible.
- Support daily operational execution by providing coverage for team members as needed during peak workloads or absences.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Asia Operations team, ensuring strong engagement, compliance, and delivery through effective performance management, recruitment, and ongoing capability development.

Experience required:

- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding operational KPIs, service standards, and performance targets across Asia.
- Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high‑performing teams and cultivate strong, values‑aligned cultures.
- Highly effective business influencer with the ability to navigate complex environments and drive cross‑functional alignment.
Desirable
- Experience working within the MedTech sector across multiple Asian geographies.
- Demonstrated ability to operate within regional or global reporting structures, including indirect or matrix reporting lines.
- Entrepreneurial operational leader with a proven track record in driving organisational change, executing major initiatives, and building high‑performing operational teams.
