The opportunity…
Are you ready to champion the future of incisionless surgery? We are seeking a high-caliber, strategic, and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead the commercial growth and market adoption of Insightec’s Magnetic Resonance-guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS) technology across Thailand.
Insightec MRgFUS (including the state-of-the-art Exablate Prime platform) represents a monumental paradigm shift in functional neurosurgery and oncology—offering patients non-invasive, life-changing treatments for movement disorders like Essential Tremor and Parkinson's Disease.
As the Business Development Manager, you will lead the high-value capital sales cycle, navigating complex hospital ecosystems, building deep clinical partnerships with neurosurgeons, neurologists and radiologists, and aligning with executive hospital leadership to establish flagship MRgFUS programs across the country.
Key Responsibilities
1. Capital Sales & Market Expansion
- Drive Multi-Million Dollar Capital Cycles: Lead the end-to-end commercial process for complex, high-value medical capital equipment from lead generation and initial clinical mapping to C-suite negotiations and tender finalization.
- Establish Center-of-Excellence Programs: Focus on developing premium, sustainable clinical programs at key institutional accounts, ensuring strong long-term utilization and reference-site capability.
- Market Penetration Strategy: Map out and execute targeted country-specific growth strategies to build a robust, predictable multi-year sales pipeline.
2. Clinical Stakeholder & Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement
- Build Peer-to-Peer Networks: Foster influential relationships with leading neurosurgeons, neurologists, radiologists, and functional imaging specialists.
- Facilitate Scientific Sharing: Coordinate high-level peer-to-peer sharing sessions, clinical workshops, and user group meetings to educate the medical community on the safety, efficacy, and clinical advantages of MRgFUS.
- Navigate Hospital Dynamics: Effectively bridge the gap between clinical advocates (the users) and administrative decision-makers (the buyers) within major private and public healthcare groups.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Partner Management
- Joint Go-To-Market Execution: Collaborate closely with clinical application specialists, regional marketing, and local distribution channels to ensure flawless site readiness and post-sale utilization support.
- Strategic Alignment: Act as a key bridge between local operational targets and global principals, ensuring commercial activities are fully aligned with the technology’s therapeutic roadmap.
