The opportunity…
The Logistics Coordinator supports the efficient, compliant movement of domestic and international freight for DT Group shipments, communicating with logistics partners and internal teams, and monitoring service performance and costs. The role supports processing claims, validating freight invoices, reviewing customs‑related charges, and maintaining accurate logistics records and reporting. It also contributes to vendor performance reviews, tender activities, and data analysis to improve transport efficiency and cost control.
Working under the Senior Logistics Specialist ANZ, the position helps to maintain system accuracy, supports process and technology improvements, and provides operational insights that strengthen overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilties:
- Coordinate administrative and operational support for international and domestic shipment activities
- Coordinate claims as per SLAs with all key logistics carriers
- Handle freight invoice and rate card verification activities
- Support tender processes and vendor evaluation activities as required
- Liaise and support DT Group shipments for departments such as RAQA, TSV etc.
- Prepare weekly / Fortnightly LSP in-transit and delivery performance reports
- FCL shipment reports on a fortnightly basis for WH planning
- Assist with data gathering and reporting for logistics performance monitoring
- Assist in monitoring transport spending and identifying cost-efficiency opportunities
- Support cost-efficiency and process improvement initiatives across the logistics network
- Support logistics-related system and technology initiatives
- Perform other logistics and operational tasks as directed by the Senior Logistics Specialist / Manager
- Maintain accurate logistics records and report documentation
- Support with ZPDC data gathering and review the data for optimal ZPDC percentages
- Review customs duty charges with LSP’s

Experience required:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a basic understanding of international (import/export, air, ocean) and domestic (air, road) transport operations, ideally with 1–2 years of experience
- Proactive, customer‑focused, and stakeholder‑oriented approach to daily operations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
- Energetic problem solver with a solutions‑driven mindset
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Collaborative, respectful team player who thrives in fast‑paced environments and works effectively to resolve challenges
- Previous experience managing high‑volume deliveries within Medical, 3PL, or FMCG industries is highly regarded
- Prior experience using SAP (preferably S/4HANA) is advantageous
- Ability to identify service‑level risks early and escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritise workloads and competing deadlines to achieve optimal outcomes for the business and customers
- Self‑motivated, reliable, and accountable in delivering high‑quality work
- Excellent time‑management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
