The opportunity…
A fantastic opportunity to join the Finance team as an experienced Anaplan Model Builder!
In addition, you will apply your FP&A Business Partnering experience to provide invaluable support to a number of key divisions in the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Anaplan Model Builder:
- Implement best practice Anaplan solutions to meet business requirements (design, build, test and maintain)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into Anaplan models
Business Partnering:
- Provide insightful, timely and accurate reporting with a focus on ensuring performance drivers are understood, business wide implications are clearly articulated and gap measures are identified.
- Continuously drive process, systems and reporting improvements in response to the changing organisational structure and business needs
- Lead role in coordinating the annual business planning processes including producing valuable insights for stakeholders
- Educate and improve financial awareness of management across the business
- Ad hoc financial analysis as required

You are a skilled Anaplan Model Builder with a strong foundation in financial planning and analysis, capable of designing, building, and maintaining robust Anaplan models that support forecasting and operational processes.
In addition to your Anaplan model building capabilities, you are a proactive business partner who delivers insightful, timely and accurate reporting, ensuring performance drivers are well understood and business-wide implications clearly articulated. With a continuous improvement mindset, you thrive in dynamic environments, driving enhancements in systems, processes, and reporting to meet evolving organisational needs. Your collaborative approach and ability to translate stakeholder requirements into effective solutions make you a key contributor to strategic planning and decision-making
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must be able to answer "yes" to all of the following:
- Are you a Certified Anaplan Model Builder (Level 1, 2, and The Anaplan Way)?
- Do you have a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience building Anaplan models, including practical application in a dedicated Anaplan workspace?
- Are you a fully qualified CPA or CA?
- Do you have advanced Excel skills?
- Do you have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an FP&A business partnership role?
- Is your commute time less than 1 hour from the suburb of Belrose?
This is a hybrid role based at our Belrose office. You will be expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
Experience required:
Essential
- Certified Anaplan Model Builder (Level 1, 2 and The Anaplan Way)
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience building Anaplan models inc practical application, such as building models in a dedicated Anaplan workspace.
- Fully qualified CPA or CA
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen underpinned by excellent financial discipline
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an FP&A business partnership role
Desirable
- SAP experience
- Power BI experience
