The opportunity…
The People & Culture Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the P&C team in Australia, specifically assisting the P&C Business Partners and the Talent Development team with a focus on employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day HR functions and contributing to a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations
- Assist the P&C Business Partners with employee relations cases by scheduling meetings, taking notes, and preparing documentation.
- Coordinate P&C communication.
- Assist with the administration of employee surveys and feedback initiatives.
- Provide administrative support for the performance review process, including tracking deadlines, and compiling data.
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Prepare onboarding materials and coordinate logistics for new hire orientation sessions.
- Assist with exit interviews and process paperwork in coordination with P&C Operations.
Talent Development Support
- Provide administrative support to the Learning and Development function.
- Maintain accurate records and data within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Generate and distribute reports from the LMS to various client groups.
- Handle inquiries related to L&D programs and provide timely responses via email, Teams chat and telephone.
- Assist with the implementation of succession planning initiatives.
Employee Engagement & Wellbeing
- Work closely with Marketing team to plan & coordinate employee engagement activities and events, such as social gatherings, team-building exercises, and recognition programs.
- Assist in developing and implementing wellbeing initiatives that promote a healthy work-life balance and a positive workplace culture.
- Gather employee feedback on engagement and wellbeing initiatives and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Research and recommend new and innovative ways to enhance employee engagement and wellbeing.
General P&C Administration
- Liaise with P&C Operations to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
- Assist with the preparation of P&C reports and presentations.
- Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding P&C policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the P&C page on the Hub and P&C shared folders are consistently updated, organized, and easily accessible.
- Assist with P&C projects and initiatives as required.

Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ year of HR general experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Passion for People & Culture and a desire to learn and grow within the field.
- Genuine interest in fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.
Desirable
- Experience in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other HR software (Totara, GO1, LinkedIn Learning)
