The opportunity…
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Demand Planner to join our Device Technologies team. Reporting to the IBP & Inventory Manager, you will play a key role in developing and managing the sales forecast within the assigned Business Units.
You will collaborate with various Device Technologies teams, including sales and marketing, to enhance the baseline forecast with market intelligence, ensuring accurate forecasts are maintained over a 24-month rolling horizon. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the Business Units and Supply teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing market and historical data, forecasting future events, and managing the weighted pipeline to deliver improved service at a more efficient cost.
Office Location: Belrose or Marsden Park (Hybrid Work Arrangement – 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Working from Home)

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role within the medical industry. The candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to work and a strong "can-do" attitude. The individual must possess strong analytical abilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, along with exceptional influencing capabilities. Furthermore, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships are essential.
Experience required:
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within the medical industry
- Knowledge of SAP IBP software and familiarity with S&OP best practices
- Proficient in Statistics, Forecasting, and understanding their financial and operational impacts
- Strong analytical, data modeling, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships
