Role Purpose:
The Associate Product Specialist – Upper North Island is responsible for driving sales growth, maintaining existing customer relationships, and uncovering new business opportunities within the territory. Reporting to the Senior Business Manager, this role supports Reynard’s vision of building a long-term, market-leading, and profitable business.
Hours:
Full-time position, with occasional weekend work as required (e.g., customer conferences and workshops).
Principle Accountabilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed revenue and product sales targets.
- Research and analyse the market to uncover new business opportunities.
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships through regular, meaningful meetings, professional presentations, and deep product expertise.
- Negotiate sales and maintain key contacts within customer organisations.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Engage both existing and new customers across the full range of Reynard product technologies.
- Partner with selected distribution partners to drive accelerated sales growth.
- Manage the sales pipeline across short- and long-term cycles, coordinating call plans across the territory.
- Work collaboratively with Sales and Operations teams within Reynard and the wider Device Technologies Group.
- Provide timely and insightful reporting on territory performance, opportunities, and potential risks.
Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
Essential
- Demonstrated understanding of Device Technologies policies and procedures, including any vaccination and background checks relevant to the role.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Quick to acquire product knowledge and develop expertise efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with customers and industry professionals.
- Skilled in negotiating complex sales at senior levels.
- Knowledge of Unleashed software is an advantage.

Desirable
- 3+ Years sales experience in the Hospital / Healthcare Industry.
